My site ranks as http://[keyword].com but recently got a askimet ban so I can't post my site to a lot of blogs anymore without manual review of the comment. However when I post as www.[keyword].com my comments all go through.
Does it make a different if I switch to posting www.[keyword].com backlinks after having build so many in the past without the www?

My site is indexed as http:// but when I click any www.[sitename].com link it already directly goes to the http:// version without the www.

If you are using wordpress, then it will automatically 301 re-direct all variations of your URL. If you are not using wordpress then you will want to 301 re-direct all variations of your URL to your preferred variation, this will allow you to keep close to 90% of the juice REGARDLESS of how people format your link when linking to you.

Whether or not you include www doesn't matter to much. I wouldn't worry about it... If you want to avoid akismet all together use a 301 domain (enable wildcard redirect) and use that domain for blasting.
