    Hi Peeps!,

    Can I send a vacation reply from outlook express that I could include a simple html message? all I'm really trying to do is to include a masked redirect;

    in my reply message he sees;

    Hi,

    thanks for the reply, please go to xxxxx.com to see more of me.

    (but I really want to send the guy to "xxxxx.com/1st.php" using a double meta refresh so it will hide the referrer as originating from email, I just really don't want him to see the "1st.php")

    any thoughts? thanks !

    thanks tissa,

    it's not the reply function that's the problem, it the replies ability to contain an html source.....

    so if you know how I can insert and html code?

    I thought at thought that would work, but it seems to have to retrieve a doc that's created when using the vacation reply mode using "rules"....so even if I set the options to "html" it can't retrieve anything that is not standard text.....

    Create a new mail message with what you'd like to send.

    Then rather than sending, choose file > save as > use an .eml extension when saving the file.

    Now when creating your rule to auto reply, just point at this eml message you have saved.

    With outlook 2007 use a .oft extension instead of .eml.

    Hope that helps

    Thank you Zone!!!!!!!!!!!!
    you are fantastic...!

    that worked excellent, really appreciate it, you taught me something!!!

    I have another question, but I realize it may not be preventable;

    when I sent a test message, it received the vacation reply(Yes..!), the vacation reply however went into my spamm box...is there anyway to prevent that? ( I used a yahoo acct, to send a test mail )

    (by the way the original email that I forward as pop3 into outlook is a gmail address)

    hey jakai,

    trying to use a php double meta refresh to hide the idea that the origin of the click is email.

    Yehhh! Got it to work........!!

    had to go into tools>options>compose>stationary> and had to use ms word to actually create a doc and use a link within the text...

    and I was able to use fonts and type...and had set up "rules" and is sent as a response,...it doesn't wind up in spamm mail...so Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    it was actually a major learning curve that took quite a while

    referrer is hidden as well

    Anyone know of a free e mail service that allows HTML in the Vacation response...
    I found that using the Signature feature in G mail, I can compose a great HTML e mail with pictures, colour fonts etc etc.. but when it gets sent as a Vacation response it is all plain text.. any ideas??
