.Htaccess redirect help

Hi , i need some help on this:

1. im cloacking my affiliate url through .Hatccess redirect ,
my problem is that i dont know which php snippet of code i
need to add to my affiliate hop to track the converting keywords.
i know the /?tid=xxx but i need something dynamic.
im working now with this simple code on the .Hatccess file:

redirect 301 /xxx.htm http://affilliate.vendor.hop.cli**ck**ba*nk.net/?tid=

That could be the problem. It has been driving me crazy because I'm not much of a coder.

thanks, but im not talking about cookie st*uff
i want to cloack my links and at the same time to pass the clickbank TID
so i can see which keyword made a sale.
if i put this line on the .htaccess :

redirect 301 /xxx.htm http://affilliate.vendor.hop.cli**ck**ba*nk.net/?tid=1

on my site i link to : mysite.com/xxx.htm
when the visitor click he will redirect to the vendor site with my hop and if he
buy i will see the TID no 1 on clickbank.

this is perfect solution for me, but i need a dynamic code that will catch all my keywords id's.

why not search g00gle: mod_rewrite pass query_string ?
