I only want to allow firefox and IE, and redirect everyone else including bots/spiders etc.

Anyone know where to start looking for this htaccess code?

    Thanks

Your .htaccess file is located at the root of your domain assuming this isn't an addon or subdomain. Are you going to do a 301 redirect?

    Hi jeylock,

    You can start here:

    hxxp://www.htaccesstools.com/

Also, on the left-hand side, there is a link to their forum. You might go there and search for the answer or ask there.

    HTH,

I didn't know you could redirect based on browser using .htaccess.

Why not just use a simple Javascript script?

Although when looking for a script to do it, it became obvious that most search engines would probably dislike that.

Either way, here's a javascript wizard thing. It won't help you as it's not .htaccess, but you never know.

If i come across the .htaccess info i'll post it here.
