Would anybody be able to help me fix this issue:
We have an issue according to AHREFS with the HREFLANG across pages. I can see which ones need to be fixed but I am unsure of how to do this within my Shopify pages.
To fix the issue, make sure all the page versions translated or targeted to users in a certain region have the same set of hreflang annotations which includes URLs to all the page versions. This will always provide return links between the alternate pages.
I have hundreds of these and Shopify and theme developers don't have an answer for me. I worry that this affects our SEO especially when I see all of these 'foreign URL's' making up a lot of my sitemap structure.
Any ideas or offers to help would be welcome!
