how yt detects re-used videos?

You can add a little something to make the video unique, add your own commentary and it will be counted as value addition.

As to how do they know it, they have this thing called content ID. Every video gets assigned a content ID once uploaded on YT and they'll detect it if some other channel re-uploads the same video. If you escape content ID then there's a possibility that someone may report you manually.
Reuploading game is not easy anymore. It's 2023, not 2013.

so videos that never uploaded on yt will be safe?

i mean at least it doesn’t have content id?

The YouTube reused content policy is strict, but it's clear and simple to adhere to. If your YouTube channel is flagged for duplicate content, you may be suspended from the YouTube Partner Program. That means your channel is stripped of its monetization status, and your income stream dries up overnight.

with just 1 video?

Its like dating. One red flag might be enough.

1 video 1 duplicated content tells enough about you, right?

Why would you even consider doing something stupid as that?

If you want to use someone's content, then make sure to add value to it, visual effects, short memes, sounds, cut something, replace some scenes, speed up slow down video, zoom in out

To answer your OP

1) No
2) They always know, so you have to do the hard work above

Yes, you could doubtlessly make money thru the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) by using monetizing your movies, make original content

We are in 2023, and YouTube has tools in place to detect copyright videos. If you copy someone's videos, they can report you, and you will be swiftly removed. If you want to earn money through monetization, you need to work hard and create your own content. If you advertise affiliate links or services, you can upload videos from multiple YouTube accounts and make changes if needed (although keep in mind that some of the accounts may get banned, so it's advisable to work with multiple accounts).

I mean you can modify the video and change different things to make it look unique and you can re upload it, but still you will go through a lot of work just to make sure no one can detect it and a reupload it that you will put the same time and effort as you record and edit the video, so I don't see it worthy besides lossing everything you work in a moment, that being said I thing that could be through hash, so editing the video could help, change sound, removing certain sections and changing the order or removing some parts at all, add some effects or speed will help you to avoid being detected, but how or the method they used no idea that is their biggest company secret.

According to the YouTube reused content policy, if the person going through your
video finds any video the same as another creator, they will not monetize your
video
. If you have got a claim, here is how you can appeal to YouTube. .

can i make money with ypp as long as the videos not copyrighted?

and how does it know it’s reused?
YT detects reused videos through advanced content recognition algorithms. You can earn with YPP as long as your videos aren't copyrighted. YT identifies reused content by comparing audiovisual patterns and metadata.

Don't go for reusing a video mate. If you are planning to make a money making channel, go for a hq content.
