    Hello guys,

I have 50$ to start my affiliate journey, where do you recommend to invest?

I've read many things about affiliate marketing in the last couple of days and I don't want to spend them on ebooks.

I know this is a common questions, but I you were me, with the experience you have, where you've been investing?

    - Facebook ads/Adwords or Yahoo and selling stuff from Clickbank
    - PPV traffic and CPA
    - Paying someone for 10-15 posts on Craiglist and CPA or CPS
    - buying facebook accounts and promoting viral facebook apps (developed by myself)
    - doing custom facebook apps and social tools for website for BHW users

    or others?

I really appreciate your help, thanks.

If it is a new website, I would say Buy Unique Content, if you don't want to write it your self. Adwords is also a great way to get traffic, But $50 is not going to help you much. you need Time. And hardwork. the $ 50 might get you a PR 3 or so Domain if lucky.

But IMHO $50 is not going to give you a hell of a boost.

Go to activeden buy a fanpage template -$17.
    Get some cheap hosting
    Code:
    hostable.com
    -$0.99
Create loads of demo facebook fanpages with template (one for each niche)free.
Get hosting affiliation (Godaddy, Justhost ect) free.
Sell fanpages to offline business all day long for $197 get hosting commissions of $100.

When you sell a page buy a new template that will save you aggro.
To find admins to sell to search Llc, Ltd, and co, bros, club, group ect in facebook.

    Thanks guys for replies

plex_brahial: i think this will work because everybody knows that social web can grow income and I've done some facebook apps, php java or javascript hosted on google apps engine so I won't have problems with scalability and hosting. However, every application needs a critical mass of user so it can become viral..that's where i'm failing, at promoting.

However, if you have few facebook accounts with few k of friends, let me know, we may do something ;)

bullseye: i don't want to buy a domain and make a website, I already own 4 websites but just only one brings some money, 2-3 hundreds per month. An obvious answer is to scale my current website, but the market is extremely saturated.

I want to try affiliate marketing, I'll be glad to invest even 200 if I'm sure I will get a profit

That short little reply is actually a pretty well laid out plan and a nice step by step set of instructions.

(what's up with that base64 hash in the image code though?)

If you are not affraid to spend some cash, then Create some landing pages for offers from CPA, Then Use PPC to send traffic to those pages.

Do Split testing, Split testing is the key.

It is Hard work, but if you get it right you will make your money back in no time.

Just search here on BHW all of this have been explained in depth.

Good Luck, Im sure that you will manage. It is not difficult work, but does take some time, cost some money, and is repeat repeat, until you find a CPA offer that woks for you. then start new one's and keep the old one running to cover the cost.

Thanks, I tried to post an image of Malcolm the meerkat saying "simples" but messed it up.
It's not actually that hard to make money if you don't over complicate things.

@ Oxonbeef, how do you bill the clients? Do you just send them an invoice and they send the money to your paypal ? I am just trying to understand how the billing system works in the USA. Can you provide a service as an individual, who does not have a company?

I have a Uk registered company but that should not stop you trading as an individual.
How do I take payments? What payment method do you have? I'll take it.
I take 50% upfront and 50% on completion.
The advantage of having a Ltd company is the perceived trust and credibility,
however once a prospect has seen an example of your work that should not be an issue.
Pricing does not depend on the work but on the features I offer, Autoresponder +$29 and $10 a month, Simple Video +$79, QR codes or vouchers +$49 and all + a monthly maintenance fee if content needs changing.
    It's all about perceived value.
This business is very lucrative right now.
The advantage is, businesses that have a fanpage and not a static page already know about the power of facebook marketing. It is up to you to realize it's potential.

Rinse and repeat this time with mobile sites.
Now you have a customer base who trust you, that you don't have a problem talking to that you can sell SEO, SEM, Social media marketing , local search and every other form of e marketing to.
They will happily give you referrals to grow your business.

This is how I started but with .mobi sites first.
I ain't never looked back, I still mess with affiliate and CPA but that's
more just to keep my hand in the game and keep up to date + I love IM.
