How you making $ from Survey sites?

Hey, I am from seo field but survey things is totaly new for me, I was reading some old and new threads here and i see some peoples saying they can make $100 per day from survey websites Is this really possible or only for few lucky peoples?

I have zero experience in survey sites but now i getting little interest in this. I want to know, is learning survey earning and making good income more hard then doing SEO for one website? Or after learning basics it become easy. also if someone is doing this full time can you please share little guidance? Like what skills i need first and what mistakes beginners should avoid. your honesty will very help full for me
