    Hi BHW,

My question is how BHW users are managing their projects? What kind of tools are good to use?

Personally I use Astrid.com to track my everyday tasks, Google Calendar to mark any special date (mostly travel, payments, etc...), and I'm starting to use Google Drive to make notes and planning projects anywhere.

    Any comment?

Google spreadsheet, and then a pen and notepad, to write down tasks.

A notepad (made from trees) and a pen for everyday brainstorming, calculating for general ideas and tracking of what I have left to do to be satisfied with my day. The last item is almost never completed thanks to a constant addition of new stuff by the hour on every idea I get/copy.

For the long-term stuff mostly excel (for lists, accounts and what not).

Evernote to sync between all of my devices. With Evernote, you can keep track of each project with detailed notes.

Exchange to sync calendar entries / email between all of my devices.

I like to start by making some tea/coffee. I then go to my desk sit down and make sure I'm all nice and comfy. I feel great and ready to start, but first I check my emails, browse some other things, visit BHW, and it's time to sleep. Before I go to sleep I think to myself, "Fuck where did that time go? Lets not worry, tomorrow will be a better day."

I use the K.I.S.S method, keep it simple stupid. :)
pen, paper and notepad. No reason to over complicate the thinking/planning/goal process. That's what works for me.

Yahoo! Bought astrid.com so I will try another method to track each task. I like the idea to keep it simple, there is no reason to make the process complicated.

It's probably needed time to get the right habits, but once you get them, you'll never want to try something else.
