I keep seeing alot of new dudes saying they are getting their adwords accounts banned due to direct linking to affiliate products (most notably CB)...first of all if ur new to IM then its been talked about for awhile now...YOU CANNOT DIRECT LINK AN AFFILIATE PRODUCT IN ADWORDS ANYMORE!!

So now that we have that out of the way...what you will need to do is stop being lazy and cheap...you have to buy a domain relating to the niche ur promoting (Im amazed at how many dudes try to do internet marketing without having a website or trying to learn how to make one -- Get Wordpress and learn it)

Now you have your domain...go into ur cpanel and create a sub directory using your main keyword on ur domain like: keyword.yoursite.com...then click on manage redirects and put in the CB aff link and hit save...so now when a person visits keyword.yoursite.com they will be redirected to the offer.

Now on ur main domain...i suggest installing WP...get a nice looking theme and put up about 5 - 10 pages of videos and articles about the topic/niche ur targeting...since ur not trying to do seo on this...just go jack some articles from ezine, article buzz or where ever and youtube to throw on your site.

Lets say you're pushing a weight loss product...At the end of all the articles or in the description of the video put a link that says "To get the most effective weight loss product on the market -- click here"

You link that phrase "to get the most effective...blah blah blah" to ur sub domain and maybe set it in H2 size font and color it blue with an underline.

You have to send your visitors to a relevant landing page to get a good QS so you paraphrase the product landing page...but sprinkle it with ur targeted keywords.

if u have graphic skills or wanna spend some money...get some banners made to promote ur product and use those as the call to action on the landing page in at least 2 places.

If you wanna do it the poor mans way...Go to google images and google the name of the product ur promoting...9 times outta 10 ur will find one that looks good...jack it and save it to ur pc.

IF you don't see any relevant or nice banners...find before and after pix of people who are attractive and have lost weight...save the images to ur pc...if you don't have a program like photoshop or know how to use one...go to this site: http://www.lunapic.com/editor/ and upload ur pix to crop it/resize it (i suggest 300x250 or larger)...then put "Click Here To Lose Weight Now!" on it at the bottom of the pix...and if u want...buttonize it

Put that banner on ur lander and link it to ur sub domain with the redirect...u prolly want to throw another one in the sidebar of the site too so it shows up on all pages of the site. Save this post/page in wordpress but make sure u change the url to yoursite.com/target-keyword

Now when u set up your ad in google set the destination and display url to the lander url...As you run ur ads and find more keywords...throw them in a separate ad group and make a lander focusing on those keywords but still with the redirect and banners.

This is by no means an exhaustive guide on how to do adwords...but this should get u started...Good Luck!

it s not gonna work.ur site it s still a bridge .if u wanna be ok with adwords terms u need to own the product and the only bridge page accepted must be a merchant.

I second this. However, it is important to remember that not every affiliate adword account is reviewed manually by Adword team, although their bots/algo is smart enough. So you might just manage to stay safe by using this method but it is certainly not 100% risk free.

The redirection part is employed on the subdomain, which is not the landing page. So technically, this would not be considered a bridge page.

Everyone here generalizes too much. "Affiliate advertising with AdWords is dead" ... "Direct linking is dead...".

None of it is dead. Google reps are partly to blame with their terrible communication skills, but so are the people who just can't make it work in today (2011... not 2005, not 2006).

If you want to make a sort-of "modern bridge site" which doesn't violate the anti-bridge rules set in place by Google, your site has to be almost objective, neutral, content-rich, deep, have tons of white-hat customer/user immersion techniques, etc. You also can't link to bad neighborhoods as far as I'm aware.
