My friend has asked my help to promote an MLM he recently got into. I normally hate MLMs but this one has halfway decent services I figured some people might want it.

He asked me because I'm more net savy than him, but how the hell would I promote it? It's nationwide so I don't necessarily have to recruit locally.

Anyone have any tips and tricks, secrets anything on promoting MLM I would appreciate it. He's happy to sign up 1 person a week, but I have a feeling 10X that will not be that hard.

    Thanks for any input.

Tell your friend not to touch MLM, its a scam by the very definition and may last a while but they all eventually collapse.

He's already in. Despite what I feel about MLM I want to help him sign up a few people so he'll mostly leave me alone.

Mlm is hard as shit to promote online. Hell, its even hard to sell face to face and thats with face to face contact.

what definition says it's a scam?

MLM is obviously not a scam or amway would have imploded decades ago.
MLM is a serious pain in the but because you can always buy a similar product FAR cheaper somewhere else(or even the SAME product).
They have to mark it up for all the payouts

if you had a patented, unique, consumable product/service that people would want...then there's a chance.

MLM is a major pain, did it for many years

Its a scam as in the only real money, aside for chump change, comes from getting referrals and then their only money comes from their referrals and thats not sustainable in the long term. That's why most all MLM companies die after some time.

It also depends on WHAT type of MLM it is...there are some that are solely based online...no physical products.

Thats all I have to say about that.

I agree with most of you. I'm not a big fan of MLM. Just wanted to see if anyone had tried to recruit online etc. This particular MLM sells service that can be done online so face to face is not required to get them in.
