How would you market a video course? Looking for ideas

Say you had 5 hours of video content, would it be better to host it on your own domain, or use something like Zenler.com? How much would it cost to have a developer build the entire site (content funnel, email signup page conversion funnel, payment page, course page etc.), ? Cost of hosting?

Zenler looks better, i think udemy takes a bigger cut and has cheap sales sometimes, zenler has better sales pages

If hosting is too expensive, will probably go funnel/sales ---> zenler

i plan on marketing to people outside of udemy, SEO mostly and facebook targeted ads. Zenler hosts around 10,000 persons online courses. They are quite professional I would check out an example of one of their courses. They also only take 10% fee when you make a sale, with Udemy it's 50% if they don't use your coupon. Zenler also has a good affiliate system, affiliates can make 50% of the sale after the 10% fee, with Udemy affiliates only make something like 15%.
