After developing for 2 years a really awesome and unseen new travelwebsite i came to an issue i'm unable to answer myself. The travelwebsite has its own affiliate system and will be working worldwide (western countries). The issue is that each country has it specifications and needs intensiv support and promotion. The product itself is unique and i have no doubt that it wont succeed. It useses automated proofen techniques from bhw (online and offline) My concern is that i'm unable to manage so many countries myself expecially that there are 2 short times in the year where 80% of the turnover will be made.I thought about giving away licenses for each country to other domestic companies . After thinking a lot i came to the conclusion its not worth it. Why ?For me its important to grow fast to use the momentum to be the first on the market and second to sell it for a good price after 18-24 months as i belive myself that the travelindustry will have hard times in the next 10-15 years. Selling a hughe website with so many licenses would be difficult for sure.Offering just a % of commission doesnt seem me to motivate the companies to put their full power behind that website or even worse they take just the benefits but dont put any own affords to it. How would you solve that issue knowing that you are going to sell that website after 2 years and can't afford because of that lifetime licenses and to keep them motivated to use all their power to promote the website on their specific country ?
