    After developing for 2 years a really awesome and unseen new travelwebsite i came to an issue i'm unable to answer myself.
    The travelwebsite has its own affiliate system and will be working worldwide (western countries).
    The issue is that each country has it specifications and needs intensiv support and promotion.
    The product itself is unique and i have no doubt that it wont succeed.
    It useses automated proofen techniques from bhw (online and offline)
    My concern is that i'm unable to manage so many countries myself expecially that there are 2 short times in the year where 80% of the turnover will be made.I thought about giving away licenses for each country to other domestic companies .
    After thinking a lot i came to the conclusion its not worth it.
    Why ?For me its important to grow fast to use the momentum to be the first on the market and second to sell it for a good price after 18-24 months as i belive myself that the travelindustry will have hard times in the next 10-15 years.
    Selling a hughe website with so many licenses would be difficult for sure.Offering just a % of commission doesnt seem me to motivate the companies to put their full power behind that website or even worse they take just the benefits but dont put any own affords to it.

    How would you solve that issue knowing that you are going to sell that website after 2 years and can't afford because of that lifetime licenses and to keep them motivated to use all their power to promote the website on their specific country ?

    My wallet is not as big as major players only 6 figures but i'm going to work with guerilla marketing and hopefully getting a big bonus to be the first on the market.

    I thought again a lot and i really have no clue how to manage so many countries in such a short time as important months are from mai till end of august.4 months for customer support,marketing,billing,technical staff etc is just not possible for a single person when starting in many countries simultan.

    I would give licenses away for 1- 1 1/2 years but am afraid about the quality these people will deliver to customers.

    @W130SN

    Its just logical thinking when you know about some economical facts.

    @Mickyfu

    The product itself is great but my concern is a quick massiv distribution and a quality support in a short time frame

    @yordanov

    I dont need more traffic.Traffic is not an issue.The issue is to handle so many diffrent countries/languages .I wont be able to do everything myself as i dont even know these languages.Another issue is that the day has only 24h.

    Countries which are important for me

    USA
    Canada
    Australia
    Irland
    Russia
    Ukraine
    Turkey
    Bulgaria
    Slovakia
    Croatia
    Poland
    Austria
    Czech
    Germany
    Belge
    Netherlands
    Switzerland
    Italy
    France

    Bring in some investors with multi national experience. That gives you the cash and expertise, and if its as big as you thing, a nice fat wallet as well. Plus then instead of selling, you get them in 2 years to hire management, you retire, and go to another project.

    That also gives you the cash inflow for massive promotion.

    Have you thought about pulling out the yellow pages and getting on the phone ? Find suitable partners already established in the industry in the countries you are targetting. Give them a call and tell them you are seeking quality partners for your new unique system. If its as good as you say they will get it pretty quickly and want to talk to you.

    That isn't much of an answer and I would be grateful if you could expand on it.

    It also raises the question of why you are starting a business in an industry you see as in decline.

    EDIT: I just did a search for Travel Industry Forecasts and found no evidence to support your opinion. If anything it is the total opposite.

    Duffers thats what i thought by giving away country licenses.The issue is that i really want to sell it in 1 1/2-2 years max .Having such partners the selling would be surely way more difficult for a good price and less attractiv.

    Telling these partners that this jv is limited to max 2 years will scare off most professional partners in my opinion cause who is going to work his ass off knowing it will end in 2 years.
