I got to the top of Google in about a month for a very famous musicians name (who died) out of about 4 million results. There's nooo competition. That's why it was so easy.

How accurate is the seo book keyword tool?
    Code:
    http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/index.php

I ask because it shows that my search phrase gets over 1k searches a day. Todays my first day at being at the top of google (im like the 4th result right now actually) and have only gotten about 80 uniques today. Is that tool accurate?

Now for my main question and reason for the thread. I'm not so creative and I really think at the speed of light, making it difficult for me to focus on one thing. How would YOU monetize a site about a dead musician to make the most $$ you could out of it? I'm looking for ideas :)

Maybe try selling ringtones of the dead musician and/or MP3 downloads. You could also try embedding ebay auctions of dead musician related stuff.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I do have a page with a flash amazon widget of some books, live concert DVDs and CDs of the musician. No buys yet. I'm also putting a guitar tabs software affiliate link in each of the guitar tabs that I post for him. Alot of young guitarists search for his songs to learn to play them. So I hope that does well. Ebay auctions and ringtones/mp3's might be a good idea.

Guess what? I'm back to page 4 in google for his name. So I wasn't on page 1 for very long at all (not even a whole day). That pisses me off. Hopefully I get moved back up there soon.

Cookie stuff your page with ebay cookies, with a text link to an ebay search for your famous dead musician.

step 1: get back on page 1.

Step 2: Do a poll to find out where his BIGGEST fans come from by zip(submit) code. :)

or Get [whatever he died of] insurance.

Well, hard to get heroin overdose insurance for example, but worth a shot if it wasn't something like that.

Push the buttons is the main thing.
