I just started a new job and would like to get some opinions on something. What you would invest in to improve your sites rankings?

Here's some quick info:

My budget is around $30 - $50

I currently have a vps and scrapebox

I am currently ranking for about 16 - 21 keywords. I have 1 on the 4th page , 3 on the 6th page and 2 on the 8th page.

At the moment I have only done onsite seo and a couple scrapebox blasts.

Things that I might get:

1.) SeRobot - Seems like it could be good for social bookmarking / Article Marketing and just generally helping to compliment my scrapebox blast.

2.) A monthly Seo Service - Not sure which one. Linkpushing looks nice but might be out of my budget at the moment.

3.) Decaptcher Service or Decaptcher Software

4.) Private Proxies (Haven't done any seo in about a month so I'll have to get some.)

What do you guys think. I really think I have a good foundation so far. I just need to step my SEO game up a little, then this site will be profitable. I really want to get a setup up going that will allow me to get the best rankings and traffic possible without taking up tons of time. I don't mind doing the work, I just don't have a lot of time.

Get your social media game up. Create a twitter, youtube, and facebook page for the website(s). Get some retweets and likes from fiverr. You should be good to go.

You do not need any of the above mentioned at the moment. Your budget is too small anyway... I suggest you to focus on manual linkbuilding firstly, maybe for couple of weeks or months, to understand better the different link types, how different sites work, etc... After that, I am sure you'll find the answer to your question and maybe your budget will be bigger already;)

OK. Thanks For the advice. Do recommend doing it manually or via a program. Just wondering.

I am in the exact same boat, I have a little bigger budget to work with, but don't know where it would be most useful. I got some ideas from this thread though!

Kikerinka obviously doesnt understand how much priority the latest updates from Google gave to social media exposure. I have tested it countless times and improved rankings by doing so. Kikerinka is however correct on your manual link building strategy. Slow down with the services a bit. Learn about valuable links and where to acquire them. Scrapebox is an excellent tool for that.

I know what you mean by social media and email list. But could you explain the email list part in a little more detail. Thanks.

Build an email list of people interested in your niche. Give them a free ebook or whatever (use PLR) to get them to sign up.

Then you can send them regular emails with new content on your site and as time goes on you won't have to rely on search engines for traffic :)

You know I never though of it like that. i always though of email list as a way of having a "life long" link to your customers. So I didn't bother to do it since my site is based of ad sense. But that would be a great way to get a continuous flow of non search engine traffic.

If you wouldn't mind could you give a few tips on social media? I know the basics since I have a facebook and I've used twitter. But is there any certain method to linking them and managing the account efficiently? Also I assume you mean using scrapebox to find high pr backlinks with low obl, then post manually to them. BTW Thanks for the advice.

Thank to pointing that out Jimmy! I have not forget on social media exposure- I just let it to be done naturally by visitors of my websites... And the truth is that pages that good number of likes/tweets/+1 in a given niche stand strong... So for sure, social signals are important, however - I have never done it using a bot or service, so hard to consider for me from this point of view...
