A few Press Releases that I did really caught on nicely, and were syndicated on quite a few major websites and news sources.

My question to you is... what would YOU do to capitalize on these prized links?

I generally have a strategy for these types of links, but I am really interested at the possible responses from BHW, as I know that everyone has a different point of view (and different experiences) when it comes to things like this.

I'd love to hear your opinions!

Why don't you share a bit of your strategy too? I've personally wondered if sending geo-targeted traffic to your press release can help it in any way...

I don't think there is a two ways about getting the most out of press release other than having a responsive list or press release site that are do follows or have the likelihood of syndicating your content as well as being re-published by others.

I would personally use Emailwire and SBwire or check out PressReleaseMoney because they submit to both. Then wait a couple of weeks after they've sent out the press release. Take a sentence from the press release and scrape as many of the postings as you can and filter out the no-follow one's, the one's that took out the links, and the one's that are low-pr then hammer the rest with everything and anything you got (scrapebox, xrumer, blog posts, article directories, social boomarks) and use them as a powerful tier one. Wasting time on money on free shitty press release's seems to be a waste of time. Go hard or go home.

    Just my 2 cents.

Hmm - what do you mean by capitalizing? Furthering distribution? Furthering exposure? Or just getting Google to see them faster, and build their backlink profiles?

I would like some of my press releases to really catch on... i could use some help with that. The writing is fine, and the content isn't spammy, it's all legit happenings. What can i do to get them more attention so journalists feel they need to use them?
