well if you spam your youtube video link or channel link.. then you will at least have a few admins click on it and you will get some views guaranteed.

you would build backlinks and get views.

Are backlinks analyzed for the YT search rankings? If so maybe I should start building more backlinks to my vids.

I do think YT looks at the numbers of backlinks in videos. even just bookmarking and pinging them you will see improvements in YT search engine.
