How will your crypto journey get affected if binance gets shut down?

Binance shutting down would have a serious impact on the whole crypto market.

Will lose all my $stx ,for some reason this is the only token they have refused to transfer to my metamask

Why don't you cash out by sending on your country local exchange?

Since binance is holding like 20% of crypto mcap, and is probably invloved in 50% of all projects and protocols that is not rugging after a month,
if binance goes down, the mcap itself will at least get slashed in half.
Then, all the supported binance projects (like, all the coins they offer earn products, farming and yields at) will probably loose their value totally.

Then, youll need to look at how big impact the BSC chain have in DeFi, cuz the aboce is CeFi only.

To say it short... Today, Binance IS crypto.
They are pretty much having a standoff with blackrock at the moment.
And.. im not sure binance will come out of it without wounds.

Picture this: in the ever-evolving realm of cryptocurrencies, there's this 'what if' scenario that's worth pondering. What if, out of the blue, regulators make a major move and Binance finds itself in the crosshairs?

I'd jump off from a building

I keep on physical wallets. Learned too much in all these years to keep it on 3rd party services.
Please note, probably Bitcoin would be not such affected. Maybe 50% crash and after few months come back.
Bitcoin is not the same as all these crypto s.hit projects. It's independent to exchanges, even such big like Binance.
Also incoming ETFs will secure the currency stability. Blackrock ETF can change a lot.

It will affect the general market because it will be like FTX all over again but it won't be affecting me personally since I mostly use Bitget to keep my funds and trade.

Panic withdrawals, skyrocketing fees, price chaos - not a pretty picture. Rebuilding wouldn't be fun either, finding new exchanges, fees, the whole shebang. But hey, maybe it's a chance to diversify, explore, learn.
