say you are trying to convince a parent or a teacher
and you know it's easy to make money online be it whatever method clickbank, cs, ebay, amazon, ewhore, seo, cpa e.t.c
but what about making a living, for the next 5 to 10 years of your life?

Proofs, plenty of IM millionaires.

People still don't believe, and those who do think it is extremely easy. Very low % of people actually understand the whole process.

You're never going to be able to straight tell them you are about to make a fuck ton of money sitting in front of a computer screen.

Just go nuts for a huge paycheck. Do whatever it takes. Spend money if you're that concerned about convincing someone. Then show them the giant check that you will get every month.

Then they will begin asking you how you did it. I'd go with "You didn't believe I could so why should I show you how I did?"

if they r nt allowing u at all
then atleast do IM part time
get a check
no matter small or big ( for those who dnt believe u can earn online)
and m sure when they see ur first check ur 50% work is done even if its a small check

How do you convince them?

You dont. lol

No really, the biggest headaches come to me from these matters. They first believe that you're a big loser, then when you shut them up with proof, you get all sorts of 'get a real job!' so I'd simply stay clear. I dont need to prove to anyone anything. You work, you make money, you're happy. Cool! Trust me, talking about IM matters in general with 'muggers' (lol, I dunno how the hell did that pop up in mind. In Harry Potter, it means 'non-magicians' if you dont know..lol) So back on topic, talking to muggers about IM have never yielded but trouble for me.

Edit: seems that pretty similar replies to mine were posted before I hit submit.

Same here! If they ask how they can do it also then only start telling something! Or it's not worth

I understand your concern a shit ton of people think we are either scamming ripping people and or being fraudulent. I get asked all the time is it legal?
Best way by far is to go nuts earn enough to splash out and show them your doing well enough from IM not to worry bout a real job because money is money and no parent or teacher is going to argue with a stack of 20's.

I think that what Stoned is looking for here is a method for proving income from online sources not necessarily to the parents as in the example, but for the purposes of proving it to the visitors on squeeze pages and the like. The general public has been turned off lately by the fake copies of checks on every site, or fake Adsense photoshopped screen captures. Forged endorsements don't seem to cut it either. The fact is this: all of these methods have lost credibility because of the incredible number of fakes and scrapes. The question is a good one too: how can we marketers PROVE to our audiences that they can make money if they will just follow some basic steps?

Use the money you earn to buy a newest Ferrari/Lamborghini model and give them a ride. Perhaps you might even show them some realized cash in front of them, ;)

Show them your checks.
It's really hard to convince someone that you can make money online (especially if you are young and live in low-tech country). If you can make money sitting in front of computer screean "why they can't?". Lol.

Drive up in the new car. Tangible stuff worked even better than my bank statement.

Unfortunately, even that won't wipe out the loser attitude that led them to demand proof in the first place :(

Tell me about it. Just because someone doesn't understand your 'system' doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Money talks, bullshit walks.

Teacher's and pay-rents are easy. Try convincing your spouse that drags their ass out of bed every morning to go to their J.O.B. while you sit home in front of the computer.

But, I agree with the majority. Don't waste you time or energy to convince anyone if you don't 'have' to. If you do 'have' to, see line #1.

I don't really see the problem here... Tons of people make a living daily from traditional sales and marketing. Internet is as close we can get to a global market (some might say that it's not global as not the entire world, not all of the worlds population have access to Internet and as some countries censor the net but it's as close we can get) and on a global market there's tons of opportunities to make a living. It's just like the "old" markets. People sell and market products and get paid for it and some work on their own while others work as employees.

What people on another hand have harder to understand is the fact that there's so many self educated marketers out there. The methods for selling and marketing is the same no matter if it's traditional marketing but the tools used for reaching the target group is different. Internet has it's own rules and one need to know things not possible to get through universities or colleges. Things just happens too fast on the net and when they have decided to write a school book about IM it will already be obsolete and old techniques.

Sure one can probably make a course on university level but it won't be learning for the future but rather for the history.

So to convince people you should make it clear that it's just like regular sales and marketing but the tools is different and that things changes so much faster on the net.

FUK EM! you don't need to convince anyone of anything. they'll just be haters if you do.

Parents and teachers will both most likely know something about someone making money online, but they tend to not believe YOU will be able to make money online. My parents at one point didn't believe I could do it until I began to make money online. The only way to prove it is to actually make money online.

damn I hate my mom
oh well about to show her :D
