Do this with your website/business this holiday season for a boost in revenue
Excluding revenue from E-mail marketing
This happened over the weekend of Black Friday/Cyber Monday which is considered the most lucrative period for users & businesses alike.
The business & website in question was making sales but they really wanted to hit it home during the Holiday season as they were fully aware about the importance of these days.
I was already running Facebook/Instagram ads for them and had built a sizeable audience size.
I pitched the idea of a "Viral Referral Program" to the least interested of the users. And let the other ads keep targeting the interested ones
The plan had three core parts:
1. Facebook Ads
2. The Landing Page
3. The Offer
Our strategy was simple, plan a pre-launch campaign, create as much buzz amongst the users aware to warrant us the biggest weekend of the year
To do that, I setup a 'viral' landing page.
The offer was simple - "Get Early Access to our Black Friday Deals (X% Discount) "
This was promoted using Facebook ads.
Since, our products were lucrative, discounts massive & stocks limited, we were able to get people signing up in good numbers.
But here came the good part, since we had limited the total number of people that could get access, we told them that in order to increase their chances of winning, they have to refer people to get points & the users with the highest points will get the early access.
We used Upviral as the platform but you could use platforms too. A good alternate is Vyper.
Now, our core users promoted the offer to their friends on social media, group chats, emails amongsth other channels. These 'new' friends & family promoted to their friends & family.
Thus, creating a snowball effect, enormous word-of-mouth & massively cheap ready-to-buy leads.
And when we announced the deal finally, it was received with a lot of warmth.
Rest is history!
Landing Page Stats from Upviral
Bonus Tip #1:
For people that were not able to make up the Early Access, you could send them discount coupons to your store
Since, they are already psychologically invested into your business. The likelihood that they'll buy is high.
Plus, sending an email won't cost you $$ (almost
Bonus Tip #2
Instead of emails, you could use Messenger/Chatbots for collecting leads & announcing results. It's a far superior method of collecting leads & following up with them.
The downside, there's no Upviral for chatbots. So, you have to do all the work yourself.
More on that sometime later!

P.S. Black Friday this year is on November 23.

PPS. Please pardon me for any grammatical errors or the polish of the words. I wanted to get something useful out in time.
