I've developed my own method of promoting business through Google, and have tested it successfully with a local restaurant that I work at. I ranked a review to the first page of Google (4th place) for a keyword search of about 2900 searches a month.

Now that's just one keyword, I could certainly rank the review for multiple other keywords.

But my simple question is, would businesses be interested in something like this? I'm certainly looking to expand this and maybe make a small business out of it depeding on how many clients I could potentially get, and how much they would pay.

quick ranking and google domination sounds great in these forums..

but businesses in the offline world want sales...

if you can provide buying customers... then its worth something
and they will hire you over and over...

Interesting thanks for the feedback, would be hard to determine actual sales, need to look more into it put some sort of twist on the idea maybe. Time to hit the books.

I sell local SEO to businesses around here. Many of them are eager to get a web presence simply because they think it will do wonders for them.

Yeah, I think web presence is a huge deal, especially when you can tell them that 3000 people would see a positive review of their business on the front page of Google.

For a lot of businesses that number is huge. Add a Facebook/Twitter campaign to that and I think I could easily market this. Just need some fancy charts, a charming smile, and some business cards.

Would definitely be good for any entity providing some type of service. The more expensive the service, the more likely they would be to dish out money to advertise.
