the one thing I've learned is that rarely should you be doing anything under your own name. Get corporations to work under, I'm not sure about EU law but everywhere I know of, you can right stuff off and business income and expense. Just make sure to document it correctly.

Well, if you don't declare your earnings you would not have something to be deducted for. If you have low income, low taxes of course.

As for me, I don't pay taxes here in our country. All I do people will pay me through PayPal and I withdraw the money right to my debit card but it takes time, I have someone here in our place who will exchange my PayPal funds into our own currency.

So, there is no way our government can trace where do I get my income from.

The corp thing atleast where im from will save ya 8-15% in tax. I use CC and write everything off from computers, internet, house, phone, to my postings and pva purchases. Vacations work too... Still had to pay Govt over 30K in taxes yuck!

@hagiology: I went to the government agency responsible for collecting taxes and ask them if they have a form for me to fill up coz I want to pay taxes. They ask me what's my job, told them I am a freelance writer. They give me a form which should be filled out by self-employed people which asked for requirements as if I do have a company. I will be categorized as a company, when I am a freelancer.

A lot of freelancers in our country who earn money online do not pay taxes it is because our own government especially the Internal Revenue does not even know how to classify us. How can I pay taxes under a company when in fact I don't have a company at all?

Give 0% taxes? We got 12% VAT and even those people paying taxes even manipulate their books of accounts in order to pay less tax. I was a good citizen and ask some help from the Internal Revenue and they did not even assist me on what to do. All they do is chat2x, texting, stay in front of the computer pretending to be busy... guess what? You need to pay under the table in order to expedite the whole process...

besides we don't get back the taxes we pay, the roads are still bumpy, dirty, and we don't have free medical care here, etc...

"PS: I hope you get caught and go to jail" --- They can't even put into jail the big businessmen and tycoons here who are tax evaders and making drastic measures in order to avoid paying taxes. Who am I? Earning $400-$1000 a month and does not even get a guarantee that I do earn that money since I am on a freelance job.

I do pay taxes to the government in terms of salary deduction. I do have a real job and that's how the government deduct taxes from me.

As to my online income, I want to pay taxes but how can I when I don't own a company and they don't even know how to classify me...

BTW, I am just replying to OPs inquiry... it's not about me... But I do explained myself here before you assume something out of a person do get your facts straight.

I never know, some of the people here are a bit cocky and assume things even if they don't enough proof to do so. I hope I made myself clear before you even judge me.

I am not mad at you hagiology, I was just shocked at your reaction to my post. Wish you well...
