no usual alarm clock will do for me as I just turn it off when it rings and keep sleeping as I don't have anywhere where to be at mornings,
but I want to wakeup at set time everyday , but in the mornings I just shut off the alarm on phone and keep sleeping this has been going on for a long time and I simply can't get myself out of the bed :(

I had this app where you had to solve math questions to turn the alarm off, did no good for me, even on the highest level it was no match to my brain who worked in hyperdrive to solve the math questions just to get back to sleep :( Than I had an app which required you to scan a barcode to turn it off, but than I figured out I could just turn off my phone alltogether and go back to sleep...Fail :(

Anyone have an solution which requires you to get out of the bed and can wake up someone who just doesn't gives a fuk about anything in mornings?

I have thought about getting a metal/wood box where I can place an alarm clock inside and buying a padlock and at night hiding the key somewhere outside of my house so I have to get up,dress and go get the key to be able to turn off the alarm. Maybe anyone knows any app which has alarm which doesn't lets you just turn off the phone to get rid of some task you must do? or any other ideas?

You don't need a new alarm clock - it's waking you up. What you need is a real resolve to get up once it rings and you wake up. I have never set a snooze alarm, my alarm never rings more than a few seconds. It rings, I get up, end of story.

When you decide you will get up when it wakes you up rather than shut off and go back to sleep, you will. I guarantee that if you knew tonight that if you got up with your alarm in the morning, you'd get 1 Million dollars delivered 30 minutes later, you'd manage to get up with the alarm.

So... it's your decision... tomorrow morning, are you getting up with the alarm, go just going back to sleep?

    Just my .02 worth...

PS. If you are seriously too tired in the morning - you can adjust what time you go to sleep the night before

There's an app called Puzzle Alarm on Play store. It lets you to solve hardest questions but the best part is "Check if I'm Awake".
what this thing does is it will ring a tone after 5 minutes to check if you're still awake if you do not tap it within 5 minutes it will tip off the alarm again. I have annoyed numerous number of my friends with this thing. The best app which never disappointed me. If this cannot help you please let go of everything and keep on sleeping.:cool:

Put your alarm clock across the room first of all.

Set it for 5 AM, go to sleep at 10 PM.

If you are waking up that tired in the morning, you got to look at your sleeping habit's. Go to bed earlier!

What Macdonjo said, and have the will power to not get back into the bed after you walked across the room.

Find a reason to get up. Be happy about your life. Do you think I WANT to get up at 4:30am every morning? Fuck no. But it's nice to have three hours in the morning to prepare for my day and do whatever the fuck I want. Work out, walk the dog, eat breakfast, get some IM work done. Shit, by the time I leave for my day job, I'm halfway done with my days' worth of work.

I have one called self discipline.

I don't actually use an alarm clock, I just wake up and when I wake up I get up.

I don't "have" to be anywhere in the AM either, I choose to be.

Yeah like the previous comments, alarm clocks do help just in case your mind slips, however you need to train your body and have the self discipline to know when it's time to wake up.

Sounds like, and this is going to sound super pretentious, you put up significant mental resistance to waking up in the morning. But considering you are reaching out and asking how to wake up better sounds like you're putting the impetus on waking up better, which is a significant first step.

I'd recommend changing some patterns before sleeping. Maaaaany things can royally screw up your circadian rhythm (or your body's natural clock)- the blue light on your tv, computer, or mobile device is a big culprit. Try reading up on finding small steps to changing your sleep habits. The important part is that they are small, and actionable so you can start habits easily.

If you want an app, try Sleep Cycle. You set an alarm and the app, when left on, will use the microphone to monitor your sleep (breathing patterns, et. al.), and will sound the alarm when you are at your "most awake" during your sleep cycle. Who knows if its science is sound, but it works for me.

If you want to get the big guns, the Philips Morning Wake-Up light slowly brightens thirty minutes before your alarm, getting your body acclimated to the daytime-level brightness and waking you up naturally.

Keep the faith. Sometimes getting up in the morning is the biggest battle.

Adopt a deaf old cat. Every morning around the same time, the cat will meow loudly for you to feed them.

    Trust me, it works.

Protip: If you ever plan on getting a lie in, don't feed your cat when you eat breakfast. Feed it at the time you want to wake up for your lie ins.

@Zwielicht : Mine knows better and no matter the time i wake up, she is going to wait for me to get out of the bed, but once I do jeez i'm doomed until i feed her and there she is the loudest cat in the whole world. There is no run away either, she opens doors like it's nothing.

@OP : Waking up early is easy, when you open the eyes just force yourself to get up. Sleep is no cumfort but a requirement that's it.
Woke up at 2 AM this morning !! try to beat that haha ;) would prolly need 2 hours of sleep later on though.

If you get your full 9 hours of sleep you will wake up naturally, no alarms

take the time you want to wake up at subtract 9 hours and make sure you are to asleep at that time

i guarantee you'll wake up every single morning at the desired time

everyone here is saying motivate yourself to wake up, i don't endorse that if you're not getting enough sleep

don't fuck with sleep, do it right cuz it is important
