I've run into the same issue recently, so it does seem like a new security feature Bumble rolled out to combat fake accounts or bots. From what I’ve seen, using a legitimate mobile app to scan the QR code is the only way to proceed. If you’re running multiple accounts, using separate devices or emulators tied to unique IPs might help

It won't help you. At the moment, the only options left are paid camera replacements, and they are all expensive. The cheapest option I bought was $1,500. All other options ranged from $2,000 to $5,000. So don't look for free options, because either they don't exist, or they simply don't work anymore because the authors have stopped updating the software.

Yeah, Bumble has been tightening up security lately. If you create an account through a strange browser or the IP does not match the real device, it will require verification on the app.

Looks like Bumble’s just upped their security by forcing all new sign-ups through the mobile app for liveness checks. That QR code ties your web session to a real phone camera to make sure you’re a legit user, not a script. It’s become more common lately—if you want to keep using anti-detect/browser setups you’ll need to scan that QR in an actual Android or iOS app (ideally with a virtual-camera plugin if you’re remote). Otherwise the web path won’t let you finish verification.
