    hey guys...

I recently downloaded a bunch of free themes and I'm in the middle of running the theme check plugin on each of them to see if there are any serious issues and such, but the thing is I don't really know what I'm looking for. I'm not too experienced in php, so can someone give me some quick guidelines or a "rule of thumb" to follow regarding the results from using theme check?

If the themes you download are for WordPress then download, install and run following plugins:
    Theme Authenticity Checker,
    WP Antivirus,
    TimThumb Vulnerability Scanner,
    Wordfence
