Here a quicky how you can use scrapebox to get the SOC (strength of competition) value in the same way as Micro Niche Finder

(Note that i NOT necessarily agree this is the best method to determine "strength of competition", but its exactly how MNF does it:

In Scrapebox, enter (in one line)

    inanchor:"keyword" intitle:"keyword" inurl:"keyword"

    like:

inanchor:"causes of ovarian cysts" intitle:"causes of ovarian cysts" inurl:"causes of ovarian cysts"

Select only "Google" as search engine.

The resulting nr. of pages coming up is about the same as what MNF tells you is the SOC for a keyword.

On that sidenote, i am "requesting" that SF would implement placeholders like $keyword

So we could enter a keyword in the box and then in a query use placeholder instead like $keyword which automatically gets replaced by the keyword.
And i'd like a placeholder for random chars and numbers which would make it easy to constantly post using random emails if we would put placeholders in emails...just a thought :)

    Thanks.

Does MNF not consider the strength of the backlinks in its SOC then?

I don't find any result using this footprint. I tried a popular keyword, to test the method..

    inanchor:"canon" intitle:"canon" inurl:"canon"

    ..and got zero results. Advice?

yeah, which is exactly why Micro Niche Finder is 100% USELESS. number of competitors means NOTHING. if your goal is to rank #1, the only thing that matters is how tough the #1 spot is to beat

save this into a txt file and use the saved file for multiple footprint (click on the button "M" on the left side of the footprint field) and SB will autoreplace the %KW% field with your keyword
