Can someone please explain in 'clear text' How do you use a 'proxie' & where to find them. I get the gist of the thing but no idea how to start. Thanks im voraus

1.Proxy in basic form just an Ip address you go through instead of using your own.
2.Protects you when your "lets say" Posting mass amounts of information and you dont want it to look like its coming from you
3. Very brief keynote You get your proxy and that's an IP address with a Port number. ex 198.162.1.1:80
4. You can use them with your browser just hit tools and search proxy. It will mask your current Ip address
5. Some website are auto proxies just go to the BIG G search free proxy search and use thier web page to surf the web covert.
6. Now why would you want to be covert... Well some countries BAN certain sites like news and blogs and other info with a proxy you can cover up where your coming from. Example China has bans on websites If your in china and want to see a website you can find a proxy website or a proxy ip and use it to view the banned website. EXample. GUy in china wants to see banned material he goes to proxy server that sets his connection up to look like its coming from the USA or some other unbanned IP and then it allows him to view contents.
