To use crypto anonymously in the USA, use privacy-focused coins (like Monero), mix your transactions with mixers/tumblers, avoid linking your identity, and use VPNs or Tor for extra privacy. But always stay aware of legal regulations.
It will never be fully anonymous in the US, but up to a certain amount, nobody will care...so its not like the FBI will be chasing you for few k per month in crypto transactions...if you get into tens or hundreds of millions, then you are screwed either way.
I believe monero is the gold standard of privacy, but if you must use BTC then you have to use a trusted tumbler / mixer service like https://www.cryptomixer.is, or split your balance and send to multiple accounts. BTC is not natively anonymous, and assume all internet traffic is monitored because it is.
we worked on a us privacy wallet. leaks are at the edges, not on chain. full anon with no kyc and no tax is not realistic in the us. small insight: legal card onramps trigger kyc fast. keep self custody for savings, accept kyc when you touch fiat
