    Hi,

I'm creating website related to celebrity & famous sports stars and I need a lot of images.

I know I can not just copy from google images and wondering what is the best way to get them without spending too much money.

    Site like this:
    http://www.yourdailydish.com/galleries/star-wars-cast-then-now/
    uses a lot of images.
And how do they do it?
Can I get from google image and add/crop/update them to use as my own?

    Any instructions is greatly appreciated.

You have got to check the offers on stock images so that you can deal with that, and its better to buy for future safety.

From my understanding of U.S. copyright law, you can use an image of a celebrity, even though it's a copyrighted image, if you are announcing some sort of news, posting some sort of commentary.

    This is called fair use.

You might want to look into that because if every celebrity blog had to pay for their images then there were very few celebrity blogs.

Do you see where I'm coming from?

A lot of these use otherwise copyrighted materials, but for allowed purposes like commentary, news, analysis, that kind of thing.

You might want to take that angle.
