This Facebook shit is bugging the hell out of me. I'm in a few large groups and I keep seeing the posts of complete strangers in my timeline. I tried turning off every notification for the group but nothing is working. And I do want to be in those groups.

Does anyone know how to remove turn off that? I certainly am not interested in what randoms are posting, Mark Z has gone full retard.

Correction: I meant to say News Feed and NOT Timeline. I'm not sure what I was thinking, sorry for the mistake.

I found the solution: When a post appears in the news feed, click on the array to the right then click Hide. It will get hidden then you will get the option to Hide future posts from this group, click that then it's done.

To revert back: At the end of the news feed scroll there is Edit Options, click that then remove the group from the list.
