I have a few micro niche sites and my question if is someone knows what is the best to track how much money which site gave per day or monthly..so far i am just creating an ad and name it with the name of the website so i have an ad for each website...but don't know if that is the best?

i heard also there are custom channels or something like that but don't know how to use it.

    hope someone can help, thanks

When you first create an ad, there will be a page that comes up where you select which Channel you want the ad to be placed in. You can just click "add new channel" and name it after your site. Then from there, every time you check your stats, you will see the earnings broken down by channels.

    Under new adsense interface:

Performance Reports > URL Channels > Add new URL to track

Where exactly are you getting stuck at?

When you create a new ad, don't you see the page where it tells you to choose a channel for the ads? I think it's the page right before you get your Adsense code.

On that page, you will see a button that says "create new channel" or something like that. You just click that, name the channel, and proceed to the next page. Now the ad you just created will always be tracked by that channel.

By the way, I use the old Adsense interface. I haven't really messed around with the new one yet, so I'm not sure if it's different now.

You can use the custom channels to track different ads on the same site. This is very useful especially for new sites, to check which ads are getting clicked the most, etc.
For instance: you set up a 728 banner, click "new custom channel" set up a channel called "site728" and assign that channel to that ad. Then set up the next one, say a 600x120 and set up a new channel for that called "site600", and so on.
Now you can see the figures for each ad on your site.
    HTH.
