How to track affiliate traffic

    Hi i am promoting an affiliate program but its stats report does not show from where the traffic is coming from to my links , is their a way i can find out myself , or is their any web service which can track visitor clicks

    depends on how you are going about things. I have been using MaxBlogPress's 'ninja affiliate' on all of my blogs...just massive options: clicks, unique clicks, referrals, sub campaigns, etc. and you can still use the links anywhere! the links are just domain.xxx/???/link-name (??? being something like 'go' , 'recommends' )

    plus the link is pointing back at a blog (traffic and maybe some PR)

    there are also quite a few other programs that install in a folder on a domain that do the same, and a few of the link shorteners have decent tracking...but not like MBPNA...this is one of the best.

    is their something like where i can just put up my affiliate url and it tells me about from where the traffic is coming from ?

    You have some software that can track the click.

    Here is one
