    HI,

The main product I am selling has decided to abandon clickbank and set up there own in house affiliate programme.

My main issue with this is that they only allow 2 different affiliate links per affiliate! How the hell am I suppose to track my sales? I use squidoo, articlesbase, wordpress, ezines plus many other techniques. I need at leat 20 or 30 different tracking ID's.

I thought about using an URL shortener but the ones I know about only allow one URL per short link.

I guess I could redirect through a load of .info's and put them in a URL shortener. Seems very long winded though - there must be an easier way!

Any suggestions? I dodnt like clickbnk much but at least they had reasonable tracking of links.

    Please help me people!

you can track the link by using bit.ly. However, it's only tracks click, not sale

    HI,

Thanks for reply but I think bit.ly only lets you make one short link per long link? SO that wouldnt work unfortunately...

Set up your own click tracker on your own domain to track traffic. You can use anything from a quick hack up to Prosper202. I use my own script with geotargeting and referrer blanking built in.

Tracking conversions will be difficult if they don't allow proper tracking urls. If they show referrers for clicks / sales then you can add your own query string to your referring urls depending on where the traffic came from.

Sounds like a pretty half assed company though.

    Hi,

Yes they are a half arsed company! BUT I have spent3 months building blogs and articles for their product so I dont want to just drop them becuase of this.

Your idea sounds like a good idea. Prosper202 seems to be for pay per click which I don't do. I think there is a thread on here somewhere about setting up your own click tracking/URL shortener. will dig it out!

    Thanks!

prosper202 is good. its not only for ppc you can create many tracking links pointing to your 1 link quite easily with it. At the moment its probably best solution that comes into my mind.
