I am wondering if anyone knows how you can tell if a deleted domain is penalized before registering it? Is the only way to guess by looking at anchors and archive way back machine?

I have found a domain with perfect anchor diversity, relatively relevant for my niches, with few backlinks but one is a pr 6 and pr 4, meaning this domain is instantly a pr 4.

However the domain has been dropped 3 times. Checking archive way back it appears it was used originally for its inteded purpose, then briefly it looked like it was an advertisment/parked/search looking page for internet service, web design, email, elevator shoes. Then it was a site about blood injections via health niche.

Does the parked domain looking advertisement page instantly discredit this domain as previously spam aka probably penalized?

Like I said there are no spammy backlinks and no spammy anchors so I cant tell?

Just look at the wayback machine to see if it was used as a PBN site. If it has good backlinks and valid PR then there is a reason they dropped the domain.
