Is there any way to tell if an IP address is softlisted by a particular site or network? Thinking about using IP Rental for some things but wanna know the best way to check if an IP address is softlisted/blacklisted.

Anyone here have any experience with IP Rental?

thanks pressed for all who post something useful...

why taking the risk by using proxy that may softlisted/blacklisted for building your business? Get private elite proxy from packetflip or mrtornado and use proxy switcher. You can change proxy in lower than 1 second.

    my 2 cents

Of course I know about private proxies, and I have them (from MrTornado). But I also have a method that requires hundreds upon hundreds of proxies, and I don't want to make that kind of investment on private proxies right now. So I need some sort of throwaway solution that does not require much investment.

I really just wanted to know how to check if an IP is softblocked because there does not appear to be a method available to do this. It would be nice to know if the proxies I am about to use will be worth a damn for a particular site... instead of just checking with them Charon and making sure they are working, I could see if they are softblocked as well to lower account banning ratio.

    Thanks

IP rental has good days and bad days. You'll probably have some success with them but just don't expect 100% perfection.
