So I inserted a code into my website that supposedly makes it a nofollow website.
Now before you call me fucked up for doing this, I run a large blog/tube site that allows anyone to comment. This allows people to spam my website with links. I would like to keep my link juice. That is why i'm trying to make a universal nofollow code for my website.

    Code:

Anyways is there anyway to check and see if it's working?

    Thanks!

Just put it there then check the source code and see if the attribute is there in the links.

Some sites clearly point out and state that they are ********. Other sites are not so clear, but if you do a little exploring you might find a page indicating that they are. If a site doesn't say whether they are or not most likely it's nofollow.

There are many cases where a site will abruptly switch from ******** to nofollow without warning, and sometimes without informing their regular loyal visitors or members. Oftentimes they also neglect or forget to remove the statement that says they are ********. Not that this should discourage you from visiting the site or commenting, but it is nice to know for sure.

It is also a good idea to re-check a site for ******** or nofollow links from time to time. If it doesn't say for sure or if you are just curious there are a few tools available that can make determining this a snap.

Why dont you place a link on your pages and use some firefox plugin or chrome to see if the links are no follow. Just a tip though. it makes you know for sure if it works.

That is probably not going to prevent your site from being comment spammed. Most CMSs nofollow comments and the spam just keeps coming.

Just FYI, if you want to check quickly then using SEOQuake is useful, it puts a line through no-follow links.
