how to target both uk an us searchers from same domain?

    as google uk show mostly .co.uk domains in the top is there a way to optimize the .com for uk traffic?

    You can tell Google in Webmaster Tools Site Configuration->Settings-Geographic Target and set it to UK. That'll let Google know your site wishes to target UK traffic. You could of course always start building out another site with .co.uk.

    If the keywords are generic you'll get traffic for both anyway however if you only want UK traffic because you only ship to the UK I'd want a .co.uk TLD.

    The other thing you could do is use something like Openx and deliver different ads based on location. Send the US traffic to one offer and the UK traffic to a UK offer.
