Depending on how you want to handle it. Paypal also offers checkout with credit card, but you will have to explain to your customers where they need to go and what they need to do. On the other hand you can upgrade your website and accept credit cards directly on it. Depending on how many services you have and how your site structured you might be able to utilize ecommerce platform. In most of the shopping cars it is standard feature to accept credit cards and therefore it is very easy to set up.

You might want to use some one like 2checkout. It will handle credit car orders externally. If you want to accept credit cars on your website you can go with paypal pro or authorize.net. If you decide to handle payment on website you might want to consider shopping cart where your services will basically be a product. This is complicated solution, and you will need to invest a lot of time and money.

i'd stay away from plimus if I were you, they're quite bad in my opinion. I've used them for some time, until, they sent the money back(chargebacked a few hundred dollars) for a job I've already completed.

you can use 2checkout and plimus. 2chekout ask some money to send application but plimus is free. I am using them and happy with their service.

My advice would be to use a third party processor like 2checkout for a while and learn how to avoid chargebacks and get some processing history. After that you should go and get yourself a merchant account.

Authorize.net is not bad, but be very careful about how they handle fraud etc. They have very specific restrictions that will result in declined cards for reasons that are silly. On the other hand, it's good to be too secure sometimes.

I've been using Authorize Net for two years now with little problem. Authorize Net is just a gateway however and the deposits go directly to your merchant account. You need a separate merchant account in lieu of a bank account. I found the one I'm using through my bank however.

    + to 2checkout
you can get a discount code to the initial fee, just google it
IMO, 2co is better than plimus and pays weekly
