Suppose, you make a very similar website (forum) to an already established and ranked website with decent traffic you have. Now you want to bring as much traffic as possible from that already established forum you have to the new one. What are some of the ways to make that new forum a success?

    - Putting up a banner on the established site to the new one.
    - Telling as many members of current site as possible to check out the new one.
    - Have incentives for current members to go check out the new one.
    - For ranking, I can find out about the current backlinks of the established site and make backlinks to those place of the new site.

These are some of the ways I could think to steal traffic from my established site to the new similar one.

Is there anything else you can suggest me to do?
