    Found a great item for dropshipping. Huge profit margin but the problem is it's coming from China. How do you tell if the seller is reputable? What sort of things should I be looking for?

    Solid plan. If not you can see if they are a sponsor, what feedback they have, how many orders etc.

    Order sample through PayPal. If they fail to deliver, PayPal will refund you. That exact thing happened to me. Just keep track of your communication and they will side with you if necessary.

    He was a 6 year member, had 100% feedback, sold thousands of items. I ended up messaging the guy asking if they were the real deal, sadly they are fake but I think that was to be expected.

    DHGate is a hot bed for scammer. Mostly fake seller. Don't waste your time there. If you really want to buy something cheap, visit the outlet in China personally. Never do things via the internet in China. China is a different business world from the rest of the world. Only work with people that you know personally and visit their premises. Internet are filled with fakes.

    Hello, Hi;

    So do you think dropshipping isn't possible if you don't travel ?
    On Aliexpress for example there are products for France or UK or Germany ...

    Don't worry, you're not the only one who doesn't agree with his comment.

    On Aliexpress & others websites there are bestsellers and 5 stars sellers .. with comments.
    What is the point for these sellers to be fake ? They need long run business

    A bit of correction here. I did not say that DROPSHIPPING IS NOT POSSIBLE. But I am targeting DHGate in particular. And dealing with Chinese merchants, it is better that you meet them face to face. China is in a world of its own and DO NOT follow the rules from the International market. Example, Apple lost the case against a chinese Company for copying their design (when the fact was the other way round0. China sellers has their own culture that you have to understand to really do business with them without risking scam.

    Aliexpress has its fair share of complaints that I won't go into. But basically point here is that you need relationship when you deal with Chinese seller.
