Here's a pretty interesting article by a guy who claims to be a reformed former black-hatter ad network owner making "high five figures per day" ($XX,XXX). While I doubt this guy's network was actually making this (generally, you don't piss this kind of cash away due to an attack of conscience) it's an interesting read.

yea i posted earlier but my thread got removed cause my cussin and some other illegal stuff to do. That dude is fucking retarded because that messes shit up for most of us like me who depend on facebook for a living

Sounds like it's a big move by Techcrunch. Mike from TC posted another article recently about how some gaming networks were generating leads by tricking people (incentivized leads) and selling them to lead gen companies. Now this article. Seems like TC is taking it upon itself to battle the folks "spamming" on Facebook/Myspace.

Not judging the folks that are using these mehtods to advertise on FB/Myspace-just stating what I see as a big push by major online influencers.
