How to SKYROCKET the amount of leads you get for every SEO letter you mail

    By using the following, unwritten law of sales for your advantage:

    No promise, benefit statement or bullet can EVER beat the power of one dramatic demonstation.

    Let illustrate this: Today, in nearly every elevator you read the name 'Otis'. Actually, he's not the guy that invented the elevator, but the guy who discovered a safety mechanism that prevents the elevator from falling into the deep if the ropes tears. About 100 years ago, that happend quite often, what made people fear taking the elevator, because if the mechanism cracked, you had a very short life span. (Because of that, buildings in the early years of New York never got built higher than 4 floors, because usually noone would rent an appartment higher than that, because of the hassle to walk up and down that many stairs everytime.)

    And then, one day, Otis found a mechanism that made taking the elevetor 100% safe, so he told everyone: 'Guys, it's awesome! My discovery makes it totally safe to take the elevator!'

    But with all those horror stories in mind noone would listen, what left him quite desperate, because noone would even try his great discoverey. Then, an idea came to his mind. He gathered a lot of people, telling them he will cut the ropes that hold up the elevator he was standing on, to demonstrate what he had invented.

    As he cutted the first one, the foloks around became quite anxious and where SHOCKED when he cutted the 2nd one. But his mechanism worked just as he promised it and prevented him falling into dead. Everyone was astonished and from that day on, everything changed. The rails for skycrapers, as we know them today, where set. While he did not succeed in talking people into trying his invention, he was able to convince them by simply showing them what he was talking about all the time.

    Simply stated: Demonstrating > Talking.

    So, how can you use this insight to boost your response? By ranking a website for a keyword like 'demonstration [your city name]' or 'xyz [your city]'. (Pick one that will be easy to rank.) On this site however, write something along the line of:
    "Would you like your business to be found just as easy as this website when someone searches for '[niche] [city]'? I can make it happen, as this site proofs. Give me a call at 0123456789 & you'll soon thank yourself for having made a decision which causes more clients than ever before stuffing dollar bills into your pockets in growing amounts on a daily basis. (But hurry. 10 other guys got this letter, too. And I'll only serve one. So call me now before someone else does!)"

    After ranking it, build this extra step into your sales letter.

    Conclusion: Most sales don't succeed not because a lack great promises and benefit statements. But a lack of proofs that back those up. Proof is the hardest component in a sales presentations to manifacture. And because proof can't be created out of nothing*, it's what we as humans rely on most. It's what we need to convince ourself that we make a good decision, if we buy or call. So:

    If it's proof people need to justify acting on your offer... give it to them! The more proof you add, the more you will sell.

    *Testimonials CAN be created out of nothing, that's why it's one of the weakest forms of proof, if it's not coming from a source we trust

    Great concept, many people that are buying SEO are always sceptical about the whole process and of the people providing the service, so this would definiely brush of the initial worry of, can this guy actually rank a site in Google. Great share and interesting facts!
