Hello, so basically my YouTube channel got demonetized, I striked a deal with my MCN that I use music copyrighted by them and they claim my videos and we split the revenue. However the revenue share is pretty bad concidering that they don't really have to do anything.

That's why I'll rather just open claim my own videos myself to get 100% of the money. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start. However I assume the steps are:
    1.Create a song/Commission a song
    - Any tips for commissioning?

    2. Copyright that song
    - I know very little about this, does a tutorial exist?

    3. Use the music on my videos

    4. Claim my videos
    - Do I need to create a MCN for this? Or do I have to create one already at step 2?

So yeah I don't expect anyone to have the time to explain every step (if those are even correct) but any tips or guides would be greatly appreciated.

I use distrokid for music copyright. If you are just selecting music, use free for profit music from youtube. No idea about video copyrights tho. Interested about it!

Well, it's their music. If you don't want to share profit, choose other music or create your own.

You don't have to claim a video if the music (and content) is yours!

The sad truth is you do. If you don't, someone else who doesn't own the song will. I've had original recordings get a copy strike. Some asshole makes money of work I've made and there's nothing I can do other than delete the video. The appeal system is broken along with the whole copyright violation system on YouTube.

yes but the idea is to use one track i claimed (other tracks do not have any claims, it's compilation) via some of these services and to monetize video that way since YouTube demonetized my channel two days ago. Interesting fact is that they demonetized it last year almost on the same date, one day difference (Monday both times). I was monetized five months later and then now demonetized again due to reused content
