    hey guys,

i decided to get rid of my vps and just set up a laptop at a friends house. i really like the built-in remote desktop login on windows 7 but the laptop wont have a static ip.

was wondering if anyone can tell me the best way to access it. while i am away from it.

I'm also a big fan of logmein, been using it for years on many, many computers.
You can even use logmein through tor in your in a bind (super slow).
Once even used logmein from a kiosk, it will display gif images of the screen if your browser has flash/javascript disabled. Works very fast with the plugin for me though.
