Hi guys, what's the best way to do sms marketing while staying anonymous? I have tons of phone numbers but I'm not legally allowed to send sms to them so..
    Actually I found 2 ways:

    - smscaster software + anonymous SIM card = cheap sms, anonymous, but you have to drive with your car or something like that while sending because your gsm phone is traceable

    - bulk sms sites that accept bitcoins like text4coins : you can use Tor and bitcoins to send 100% anonymous sms. The problem is that, in most cases, prices per SMS are extremely high

Is there another way to do that? I know that lots of people send millions of SMS illegally while staying anonymous, how to do that?
    Thanks

Why is sending bulk SMS illegal? If you are really concerned go to a major mall or shopping center and use an anonymous sim card with whatever set up you would like. Is there really SMS police out there?

What are you sending the sms's for? To advertise a service, a product, your website? If the FTC wants to, it'll work with other law-enforcement agencies (especially if you're bothering loads of people with "millions" or illegal text messages) to track you down and prosecute you.
Better focus on getting people to opt-in to your service - those are the best kinds of people to do SMS marketing on.

Pretty much you need sim cards, gsm modems, smscaster and phone # data to send sms. Gotta buy the sim cards with cash and the affiliate offer your pushing better be located offshore because the FTC will either track down who bought the sim card or follow the money trail to you. Not as easy as you think. Trust me. Now if your outside of the US thats another story.

Oh and good luck with sim cards, 99.999999999% of gsm companies have automated systems to ban sims for sending bulk sms. Their easily detectable and quick to ban. So you buy a sim with service for $20-$50 and poof after 50 sms its banned. Happens 99.99999999% of the time.

    "SMS police" pfft...
Several companies in my country (Denmark) has been fined because they accidentally sent bulk SMS's to a bunch of people who didn't opt in for them.
The fine is the same as sending spam emails which is 100 DKK (roughly 20 USD) PER MESSAGE.
So yea, better make darn sure you're anonymous if you wanna do this kind of stuff.

That's not really thinking outside the box though.
