How to send a $5 bill to South Korea APO?

So I want to send a $5 bill signed by the All American Rejects to a friend in South korea. But apparently currency is not allowed in the mail to APO in South Korea. Is there any way around this or is a measly signed $5 bill something I should forget about? It'd be NICE if I can get this over there! Anyone have experience in this?

I have it wrapped in some notes that's tied with a rubber band. Will that do? Don't they check for this?

Unlikely they will check, lots of mail goes there so put it in a book, mail it and dont forget to warn him!
