How To Sell Music?

    Let's say for example I want to compile the best 20 songs, put it on a CD and sell it... legally of course.. How do I do it?

    In oz & nz, you would contact APRA/AMCOS http://www.apra-amcos.com.au/
    This is an organisation which collects royalties for artists and publishers. There would be a similar organisation in your country, you'll have to search around.

    You are dealing with mechanical royalties. AMCOS in oz & nz deals with these types of royalties, CMRRA is the Canadian equivalent.
