How to sell eBooks?

What are some good ways to sell eBooks?
In a sense that here... I got my 10, 20, 60, 100, 160 page eBooks.. Now what do I do with it?

I know you can do it on DP, but the trick over there most of the time is say, "I'm only selling 20 copies, 19$ a pop", but what if I want to make a lot of money with it? Like something that I'm willing to put my three months of work in?

Should I create a site, hype it up for 3 months, gather as many e-mails as I can, and then e-mail everyone on the realese date, and apply to ClickBank so others would sell it?

What do you guys think?

EDIT: And what if I want the easy route so selling an eBook, what would that be? DP?

all you will get on DP is idiots asking for a "free review copy"

You can get affiliates to sell it on Clickbank ($49 I believe, plus a piece of the action) or PayDotCom (Free I think, but they get a piece of the action).

However, no affiliates will touch it unless you offer them 60%-75% commission. Also, you will do better if you offer affiliates some tools on a designated affiliate tools page on your site. Offer them stuff like banners, email ad copy samples for their list, un-watermarked videos (so your affiliates can watermark them with their own url displayed) and squeeze page templates.

Study the ways other successful ebook authors sell their products, and "model" their methods.

Yes i agree with Wiz , try Clickbank and Paydotcom.

Like stated above, try ClickBank, payDotCom or any other system.
Create your landing page.
Offer a mini-course against their email address.
Research your keywords.
Write 1 article per keyword.
Spin the content of the articles.
Submit all articles.

Takes time, but if done correctly will bring home some $$$
