I am selling all my FB accounts and I have a choice of Paypal and Moneybookers to use. So far all is ok but I am sure at some point someone will try and scam me and try a dispute or chargeback and keep the accounts. What are the best ways to accept any future payments?

I know with Paypal I can ask for a gift or maybe a service or should I just sell as goods and if someone tries a dispute I would just tell PP it was digital. I have no ideas about how Moneybookers works for non tangible goods so I am stuck on that.

I know a credit card chargeback and bank chargeback are almost impossible to win.

    Anyone got any advice?

    Thanks

You may phone verify the orders or use services like Maxmind or simply just risk the disputes and chargebacks that will come with PayPal users.

It's difficult to verify each order for digital services / goods.

We have been using Maxmind for a while now and have been happy with the results. It has blocked many fraudulent orders that were placed.

Are you using an ordering system or just selling them manually? If you do use an ordering system you should be able to integrate maxmind directly into it so that it will automatically check orders as soon as they are placed.

In addition you can also setup Maxmind so that it will do automated phone call verification.

There is no surefire way to do this unfortunately. Scammers are out there and in your niche I'm sure they are plentiful. With SEO services its the same thing from time to time. It's just part of the business unfortunately.

The good thing is anytime I've been scammed I'll look into the customers sites/niches and within months they are gone and off to the next thing. It usually never works out for them.

Karma's a bitch and chargeback trolls deserve everything they get.

Call paypal first and say you warned the seller of paypals digital policy before ordering. Be nice and polite......I have always won my disputes, never lost once for digital goods.
