Hey forum members, I have seen recent sites being flipped at flippa for 800$. The site contains almost nothing except 10-12 posts. the owner claims to have a profit of 100-200$ for a month through the site and sells it over. The rating for such sellers is also good. I really do not understand how is this actually achieved.

I mean, how can a site generate a good amount of 100$ for 10 posts and get it flipped that way. By clever tactics, I meant the way things should be optimized. Any help, advice or suggestions would be extremely grateful. Thanks,

More than likely they're purchasing traffic to their AdSense site or they're posting 10 articles targeting keywords with a decent CPC and blasting those articles with links to rank quickly to get organic traffic and then selling the site before it gets a penalty. As far as the seller(s) receiving positive feedback, the buyer/purchaser is either leaving feedback immediately before earning revenue from their new site or is leaving feedback before their new site is penalized. These are just a couple of possible scenarios.

Another possible scenario is that the buyer is just a complete Newb with buying sites and doesn't know what to look for.

Thank you for the input Veyron. That really helps. It makes me understand why this is actually happening. One of the members even got suspened though he has a positive feedback. This might be the reason. Thanks again for clarifying it,
